Payment, Shipping, Refund and Return Policies

Payment Policy 

Lyn’s Crafts accepts payment via VISA, MasterCard, Discover and PayPal. All payments are in US dollars. Maryland residents will be charged 6% sales tax.
Payments are accepted and processed by 3rd party payment processors such as Stripe and Paypal. Customer payment data such as credit card numbers, security codes and expiration dates are NOT captured or stored on Lyn’s Crafts website. All payment information is processed by our respective payment processors within their secure systems.

Shipping Policy 

Lyn’s Crafts DOES NOT offer free shipping on our tangible products. The buyer is responsible for all shipping changes and processing fees.
For international orders the buyer is responsible for all shipping, handling, customs fees and duties.
Our orders are shipped via USPS, usually within 1 or 2 business days.


Packages are generally dispatched within 2 days after receipt of payment and are shipped via USPS with tracking and drop-off without signature.

Buyers are responsible for all shipping fees include handling and packing fees as well as postage costs. Handling fees are fixed, whereas transport fees vary according to total weight of the shipment. We advise you to group your items in one order. We cannot group two distinct orders placed separately, and shipping fees will apply to each of them. Your package will be dispatched at your own risk, but special care is taken to protect fragile objects.

Boxes are amply sized and your items are well-protected. Small orders may be shipping in sturdy plastic envelopes to save space and reduce your shipping cost.

Return Policy

If an item is defective, we will, of course, exchange it or refund the cost of that item at our expense.

If you wish to return an item for any other reason any returned items must be in the same condition that we sent them.

For exchanges, the customer must return the items to be exchanged prior to our sending out the replacements.

In all cases, once we receive the items back and determine that they are in good condition we will issue a refund or ship replacements.

Since most of our tangible products are yarn or threads, we will only accept returns and issue a refund if the item is still in good condition and able to be resold.

Refund Policy

We realize that sometimes mistake are made and a refund is necessary. At Lyn’s Crafts we provide the following refund criteria:

  • We are out of stock – if you purchased an item from our website and we are out of stock we will refund you the full price of the missing items. Items that are in stock will be shipped normally. If none of the items you purchased are in stock we will issue a full refund.
  • Not satisfied – if you are not satisfied with your items, you may return them for a refund provided they meet the conditions as indicated in our Return Policy.
  • Refunds are processed via our Payment provider, either PayPal or Stripe. We will process your refund using the payment gate used to process your order.
  • Refunds are usually processed by Lyn’s Crafts within 1 to 2 business days – replacement of funds in your account may take longer due to the processing time at our payment gateways.
